Penfolds Bin 311 Chardonnay

It combines Gordon’s passion for quality with the heart and soul of Italian winemaking and has been awarded the Drinks Business Gold and Decanter World Wine Awards. With vibrant notes of fresh redcurrant and blackberry, Intenso Rosso has a bright, intense ruby red colour. On the palate it is textural with depth and juiciness, intense and approachable tannins. One to try this summer.

For 2024, Burn Valley has launched a record number of ten new vintages, which include: Bacchus 23, Schonburger 23, Solaris 23, Marsh Red 23, Solar 23, Chalk Bed Reserve 22, Regent 22, Chardonnay 22, Sparkling Rose 21 and Blanc de Blanc 21. Notable wines to date have been Pinot Gris 22, Solar Late harvest 21, Pinot Blanc 20, Pinot Rose 20, Regent 19, Bacchus 19. They have high hopes for their Chardonnay 22, Wild Ferment Pinot 22 and Chalk Bed Reserve 22.

Parad’Isula

Tasting Notes: A distinctive bottle and an evocative Corsican name for this rosé, Parad’Isula means paradise island. Its terroir benefits from a Mediterranean climate with mountain influences and is made using Native grape varieties Nielluccio and Sciaccarello combined with Grenache. This Corsican rosé is beautifully pale and delicate, with fresh and aromatic notes.

Pairing Notes: The perfect accompaniment to dishes with Mediterranean flavours. Try with aziminu. the island’s version of bouillabaisse. It usually features red mullet, sea bream, and scorpion fish stewed with bay leaves, saffron and fennel.
