The Parlour

This autumn, The Parlour has launched a new menu that features a selection of luxurious dishes that bring a contemporary twist to traditional favourites. Featured dishes such as the Spider Crab Spaghetti with crab bisque, red chilli, and tomato (£38), or the Roast Turbot served with Aquitaine caviar and chicken jus (£52), are true culinary masterpieces. Opt for the signature sharing Seafood Platter, a combination of lobster, oysters, prawns, dressed crab, and mussels (£96) — the most decadent dining experience.
Those with a sweet tooth can sample the showstopping new desserts from the new executive pastry chef, Darian Schmidt, who has poured all his creativity into the menu. Highlights include the hay-infused Chocolate Crémeux with hay parfait and blackcurrant (£12), the Mille Feuille served with vanilla diplomat and pepper strawberries (£12), and the Olive Oil Cream paired with lemon-rosemary sorbet (£12).

Available every weekend, Mercer Roof Terrace’s ‘Crown Afternoon Tea’ is inspired by the opulent world of British royalty, with a special Princess & Prince’s Afternoon Tea available for the little ones. The Crown Afternoon Tea costs £49.50 per person or £64.50 with a glass of Charles Heidsieck Champagne brut or Royal Tea Pot Tails and £69.50 when with a glass of Charles Heidsieck Champagne rosé. The Princess & Prince’s Afternoon Tea costs £37.50 per child.

Fazenda
This premium South-American restaurant group that has unveiled its new menu, offering tableside service of freshly-grilled cuts of succulent meats, seasoned and cooked in the tradition of the Brazilian Pampas. The Churrasco Experience promises the essence of traditional South American grill, inviting diners to indulge in an array of premium cuts, complemented with freshly-prepared Brazilian small plates and sharing dishes. Priced at £62 p/p (£49 at lunchtime), the menu features a continuous selection of fifteen grilled meats served tableside by Fazenda’s Passadores, including Picanha (beef rump), ribeye, pork belly, chicken hearts, and sirloin. For those seeking a lighter meal, Fazenda also offers an á la carte of Brazilian small plates, and seafood and vegetarian dishes. Plates include Giant King Prawn – grilled and served with spicy chimichurri, Seafood Moqueca – cod, prawn, and mussels in tomato and coconut stew, and Tonnato Vitello – Yellowfin tuna, beef cream emulsion, and capers. Complementing the à la carte and Churrasco menu, Fazenda Bishopsgate now offers a Happy Hour between 3pm and 7pm every day, with a selection of cocktails, beer and wines available to choose from. Fazenda offers a large selection of the finest Argentian, Brazilian, Chilean, and Uruguayan wines, as well as a carefully curated bespoke cocktail menu – specifically made for the London restaurant.

The Happenstance by Drake & Morgan
Say cheers and raise a toast to our City during the Lord Mayor’s Show with a stop at The Happenstance by Drake & Morgan in Paternoster Square. Just a stone’s through from St Paul’s Cathedral with plenty of indoor and covered terrace seating, The Happenstance is the perfect spot for refuelling with friends after soaking up the fanfare and atmosphere. Tuck into delicious starters, mains and desserts including wild mushroom arancini, marmite mac ‘n’ cheese and Cornish roast cod, while sipping on a range of creative cocktails like the Ferrero Rocher espresso martini and roasted pineapple margarita, alongside wines, beers, spirits and ciders.

Morchella
Morchella, restaurant and wine bar in Farringdon, set just off Exmouth Market, from the team behind beloved Perilla in Newington Green, opened earlier this year. Morchella, with its relaxing and minimalistic interiors, specialises in serving modern interpretations of Mediterranean classics. Executive Chef Owner Ben Marks, along with Head Chef Daniel Fletcher have curated a menu focussing on conscious seasonal cooking, including a selection of sharing plates, ranging from snacks like the Salt cod churros and Vittello tonnato, to lager plates of Lobster Spaghetti and Sea bream with sauce vierge. To pair with the food, a creative wine list has been developed by Co-founder Matthew Emmerson and Head of Wine Juste Karbauskaite, divided into there categories based on locations and profile: Coastal, Classic and Funky. The list includes selected experimental and low-intervention wines from new and long-standing producers, available by the glass and from the tap, exploring the Mediterranean coast.
