Dumpling lovers, your prayers have been answered. If you’re a dumpling enthusiast then it’s without a doubt that you need to visit XI Home Dumplings Bay.

Whether you’re in the mood for some pork dumplings, chicken or prawn – there is literally something for every palette. We highly recommend trying the signature dumplings, which are the handmade jade lobster dumplings, a real delight.

The extensive menu at this new dumpling restaurant located on Blossom St, will have you taking a moment or two to scroll through the pages. At first, we were a little confused as to what to order as there is so much to choose from, however, the lovely staff advised on how many dishes to order per person. Typically, portions at this spot are generous and perfect for sharing. If you’re not in the mood for dumplings, don’t worry as they also have a great selection of hot and cold starters to choose from.

XI Home Dumplings Bay is a pretty cool spot in the City and it’s the perfect mid-week dinner spot.

Looking for a spot that serves Pan-Asian delights? Look no further than UBA. From the team behind Sucre, Alma and CLAP London, UBA blends East London’s dynamic spirit with the flavours of South East Asia, providing fragrant sharing plates and playful cocktails at an accessible price point.

Located within East London’s stylish Hart Shoreditch hotel, UBA’s stunning interiors are inspired by cultures and mythology across Asia. We loved the beautiful interiors at UBA, which incorporates shades of red and gold, standout features include a statement marble bar offering counter dining for up to 14, red velvet banquette seating, lava stone tabletops with antique mirrors.

Highlights from the menu include, the chicken hirata buns, seared salmon belly maki and the rock shrimp style tempura. For mains, the black cod is phenomenal and is one to add to your list.

For diners that are keen to impress their followers on social media, be sure to try the vanilla tofu cheesecake, hidden beneath a fluffy cloud of Sakura floss.

This spot delivers on many variables, splendid cocktails, stunning interiors and mouth-watering dishes. Sounds like a winner to us.
