Police are appealing for witnesses after a moped driver was killed in a collision on Victoria Embankment on Wednesday morning.
The 54-year-old man collided with a lorry on the westbound carriageway of the Embankment close to the junction with Temple Place at around 7.50am on 18 April.
Emergency services attended the scene but were unable to revive the victim. The road was cordoned off and closed to traffic for several hours.
Detective Chief Inspector Oliver Little from City Police’s major crime team said the man’s family had been informed and that officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
