The City of London Corporation is again encouraging Square Mile residents and workers to get their first, second and booster jabs as the Omicron variant dominates across the capital.

London still has very high daily case rates with large numbers in hospital – putting further pressure on the health services.

Vaccinations are available at Boots pharmacy, 120 Fleet Street, EC4A 2BE – and a new centre has opened on the City/Tower Hamlets border at Sai Pharmacy, 19 Stable Walk, Goodman’s Fields, E1 8EJ.

People can book an appointment at nhs.uk/coronavirus or by calling 119. More information is at cityoflondon.gov.uk/footer/covid-19.

ICON College 1-3 Adler Street, E1 1EG
Murray’s Pharmacy 96-98 Murray Grove, N1 7QP
Columbia Pharmacy 104 Columbia Road, E2 7QB

People can find more details on the NHS website.

Chair of the City of London Corporation’s Community and Children’s Services Committee, Ruby Sayed, said: “Getting your jab is the best way to protect yourself, your loved ones, and the wider community.

“The vaccine can stop you from getting seriously ill from COVID and will reduce pressure on our NHS. Any dose gives you a defence against the virus.

“You are far more likely to end up in hospital as a result of COVID-19 if you are unvaccinated or not fully jabbed.

“So if you haven’t already had your free first, second or booster jabs, please take this opportunity to receive it – it’s not too late.”
