Mac & Wild, the Scottish culinary masters of the Square Mile, have created a whole new Burns Night meal kit for 2021. As passionate Scots, these guys couldn’t let such a very special night of the year go unmarked – even as they’re forced to close their doors during lockdown 3.0.
So, in celebration of Scotland’s most famous poet, Robert Burns, the Mac & Wild team have boxed up all the components required to create their famous Burns Haggis Burger and all new Haggis Tacos (two soft corn tortillas stuffed with venison haggis, pickled neeps, crispy tattle bits, Buckfast sriracha hot sauce and Glenmorangie whisky sour cream). Because you can’t spend 25 January without having some form of haggis!
But they aren’t just offering up the Burns Kits. They’ll also be hosting free cookalongs on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 January as well as a free virtual Burns Night party on Monday 25 itself via their Instagram Live platform – with some special guests.

Plus, Mac & Wild co-founder, Andy Waugh, will then be on hand to lead proceedings for the all-important addressing of the haggis before everyone gets stuck in.
Either buy your own grub locally for the event or get your meats from the Mac & Wild Butcher (with their infamous venison haggis prepped and ready to be delivered nationwide too). And they’ve restocked their online cocktail kits just in time for the hallowed evening, making sure you get all the best whiskies and mixed drinks while you’re celebrating at home.
