Like just about every other holiday last year, Mother’s Day will look a little different. You probably won’t be able to make your mum breakfast in bed, let alone visit at all.
But you can make up for it with some of the DIY meal kits which are being made just for Mother’s Day. And one of the most luxurious is that from Galvin La Chapelle, the Michelin-starred French restaurant in Spitalfields.
For the special day, they’ve created a 3-course meal, priced at £55 per person. You’ll get some fresh rosemary focaccia with nocellara olives before quickly putting together the salad of buffalo mozzarella, blood orange and beetroot.
The main comes in the form of a roast highland chauteaubriand with pommes Anna, glazed shallots and creamy spinach. There is also a vegetarian dish but this cut of meat is just too heavenly too miss out on.
