We know the hustle of everyday life can get a little draining. However, it’s important during all the busy periods of life to find a moment or two for yourself. Here’s some ways to focus on yourself this month. Read on to find out more.
Get a good night’s sleep in a City hotel
With a few citizenM’s dotted around the City, our hotel of choice is the Tower of London branch. As soon as you enter this hotel you will be impressed by the lobby and the quirky design. The easy check-in process is most certainly a favourable extra for a City hotel.
This hotel is interesting because all of CitizenM hotels, you’ll find one type of room – cosy and designed for two adults to share. However, despite the size of this hotel room it still feels very inviting and comfortable.
Another fantastic point about this hotel is the location of it. This is the perfect spot for exploring The Tower of London and perfect for sightseeing. We also loved the rooftop bar and it’s perfect for a few drinks and snacks on a sunny day.
Whether you’re staying here for a business trip for a few days or looking to explore London, you won’t be disappointed with this hotel.

Feed your soul with a tarot reading
If you’re intrigued about having a tarot reading but not too sure where to go? Well, you’re in luck because the team at City Matters has done their research for you. We recently had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful team at Crystal Forest in Brick Lane.
Firstly, you’ll notice how busy Crystal Forest is. Once you’ve met the tarot reader, Priti, she will sit you down and go three different piles of cards and start the reading. The reading focuses on the past, present and the future. Each card in the tarot deck carries symbolic meanings and represents different aspects of life, emotions, and challenges. Priti takes her time to allow you to ask any questions that you may have. Priti is passionate about tarot reading and expresses compassion and understanding towards her clients. The team at City Matters found the experience truly eye opening and a wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon. What are you waiting for?
Try an exercise class
If you’re looking for a Pilates Reformer class like no other then you need to check out 1Rebel. This class uses state of the art Reformer beds, this low impact, full body workout is by no means an easy task. However, if you are looking to challenge yourself then this is a great class and it aims to improve your strength, flexibility, coordination and overall fitness. The instructor is enthusiastic, energetic and motivates you enough to keep going in those moments that you are ready to throw the towel in. The studio is slick and everything you’d expect from a City gym. This is a fantastic class in Broadgate Circle – be sure to pack some Reformer socks are you’re good to go.
