You really can’t go wrong with a Sunday Roast. We’ve tried and tested some of the finest the City has to offer. Read on to find out more.

Mr Fogg’s City Tavern

Located in Broadgate Circle, Mr Fogg’s City Tavern is a lovely spot to enjoy a simple yet delicious Sunday roast. We opted for the chicken supreme roasted with lemon & thyme, served with sage & apple stuffing, roast potatoes, seasonal green vegetables, maple roasted heritage carrots & parsnips and lashings of gravy, an absolute dream. For sides, we’d highly recommend trying the pigs in blankets too. However, the sticky toffee pudding was the real star of the show for us – just the right amount of sweetness to hit the spot. We love the slick interiors at Mr Fogg’s City Tavern, it’s always a vibe at this place whether you’re there for a tasty Sunday roast or a few drinks after work. You simply can’t go wrong with deciding to dine at this place, it delivers on great food, fab vibes and exceptional cocktails.

Blacklock

For all those who are heading to Blacklock to try the Sunday Roast you are in for a treat.

The ‘all in’ platter is perfect for sharers. Pre-chop bites followed by a heady mix of beef, pork and lamb skinny chops piled high on charcoal-grilled flatbreads with a choice of side each. Sounds divine we know. After having worked our way through this generous portion of food, all we can say is that Blacklock do Sunday Roasts exceedingly well.

If you’re a cocktail enthusiast, then it’ll be almost catastrophic to not order a cocktail or two from the menu.

If you’re keen to try a Sunday Roast this month then without a doubt Blacklock should be added to the list. This is a top-notch dining experience that will have you coming back again.
