Head to Stratford
If you’re looking for a spot out of the City to visit, then why not head to Bamboo-Mat Stratford. On arrival, you will notice how friendly the staff are. George, the restaurant manager is fantastic and on-hand to offer advice on the standout dishes on the menu.
The vegetarian dishes on this menu are absolutely delicious. To start, the padron peppers are incredibly moreish and perfect to share. The veg ceviche are not only a feast for the eyes but are a great starter. However, if you’re more of a sushi lover then you are in for a treat. The crispy mozzarella maki is wonderful and generously portioned but the star of the show for us, most certainly is the vulcano maki. The cocktails here are also perfect for those ‘Insta shots.
This restaurant deserves all the credit – the food is superb and the amazing service really will have you coming back again.
