Recently the team at City Matters had the pleasure of visiting Sticky Mango in Tower Bridge and what a pleasure that was. This restaurant is not only classy but also provides stunning views of the City. Whether you’re in the mood for the wonderful tasting menu or would rather pick items for the menu you are in for a real treat. The prawns are delicious and cooked extremely well. The cocktails are also fabulous and worth a try. One thing that really stood out to us about Sticky Mango was the consistently good service that was received from staff, not only are they attentive but they are also very welcoming. With great interiors, fantastic food and stunning views this is the perfect date spot to try this month.

It’s no secret that the team at City Matters are huge fans of Pan Pacific London. If you’re looking to impress your date this month with a breakfast date, then this could be the perfect spot. Located just moments away from Liverpool Street Station, Straits Kitchen, has a great breakfast menu, we highly recommend the French Toast. What are you waiting for?

CORD by Le Cordon Bleu
There are a number of excellent fine dining joints in the City. However, there’s one that really stood out to us this month – CORD by Le Cordon Bleu. This restaurant, situated in a grade II listed Lutyens designed building, on Fleet Street, CORD is a perfect combination of timeless elegance, innovative menus, and superb service. Each dish is beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. This restaurant is spectacular and located in the heart of the City and it’s the perfect choice for a special occasion or a fine dining experience.

Flight Club Shoreditch
We know, first dates can be a little awkward but what better than an activity to break the ice? Head over to Flight Club to play some darts whilst sipping on some amazing cocktails. With a few dotted around the City – our favourite is the Shoreditch branch. This bar has a great atmosphere, fantastic drinks and overall great vibe – one to add to your list this month.
