We’ve narrowed down some wonderful spots in the City to enjoy a cup of coffee or two. Read on to find out more.
Blank Street, Liverpool Street
We know you’ve seen the hype around Cult brand, Blank Street on social media. We’re huge fans of this spot and it’s not just because of the hype, the drinks here are fantastic. Blank Street has as teamed up with celebrity stylist Melissa Holdbrook-Akposoe – also known as @melissaswardrobe – to create a delicious new limited edition Maple Matcha drink. This new addition to Blank Street’s menu is the perfect choice for Autumn – with flavours of maple and cinnamon. This quite simply is the perfect drink to try this Autumn – what are you waiting for?
DL / Service, Whitechapel
This beautifully designed all-day neighbourhood café, located in Whitechapel,is a lovely spot to enjoy a wholesome lunch or a cup of coffee. This café offers a welcoming, comfortable, and contemporary escape from the bustle of the City. The White Chapel Building in Whitechapel features a wide-ranging menu including made-to-order smoothies and juices, but we are huge fans of the chai latte at this spot. If you’re feeling a little peckish, then we highly recommend trying one of the freshly prepared sandwiches or one of the delightful salads that are on offer. We also love the service at this spot, staff are wonderful and attentive.
Starbucks, Bank
This coffee shop needs very little introduction. We recently visited the Threadneedle Street branch in Bank. We love the slick and sophisticated feel of this Starbucks. It’s a fab spot to put your head down and crack on with some emails or even enjoy some time away from the office with a delightful coffee.
Seeing as it’s Autumn we decided to try a few delights from the Autumn menu. If you’re just trying one drink from their menu this week, then it needs to be the pumpkin spice latte. However, if you’re after a cold brew, be sure to get your hands on Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, absolutely dreamy. And it gets better for pumpkin lovers, the pumpkin marble loaf cake is delicious and one to try this Autumn.
