If you’re looking to add that extra special touch to your Christmas Day this year, Nobu Restaurant will be welcoming guests to enjoy its famed Nobu Brunch – where guests can treat themselves to limitless portions of sushi, sashimi, ceviche and other timeless Nobu dishes. This sounds like a dream to us. Available for one day only, and priced at £150 per person, guests will be greeted with a complimentary glass of Champagne on arrival, before enjoying the classy vibes that this restaurant has to offer. Open for the very first time on Christmas Day, the pub is pulling out all the stops with a five-course feast overlooking stunning views of the city in its rooftop restaurant. The red carpet will be rolled out with a fizz reception and canapés on arrival, followed by the main event, with dishes including a cured monkfish carpaccio with langoustine mayonnaise; English Rose turkey with all the trimmings; and a dry-aged beef Wellington with ox cheek and potato dauphinoise. End with a classic Christmas pud or artisan British cheese selection, along with coffee and mince pies.

Gaucho, Tower Bridge

Yes, we know we bang on about Gaucho but it’s with good reason. This year enjoy views over the River Thames this Christmas Day at Gaucho Tower Bridge. Enjoy some of the best and most ethical beef in the world. With three menus to choose from; Signature (£75pp), Sharing (£62.50pp) and Feast (£85), guests are able to enjoy delicious starters, such as sea bass ceviche; and beef empanada; with mains featuring a choice of sustainable steaks as well as chimichurri butter roasted turkey with malbec and cranberry stuffing. This will set you back from £62.50 per person and it’s available from 11:45am, with final seating at 3.45pm.

Cinnamon Kitchen

If you’ve visited Vivek Singh’s Cinnamon Kitchen then you’ll understand what all they hype is about. If you’re looking to dine within a more casual setting, then look no further than the hidden gem that is Cinnamon Kitchen. On the day dishes include tandoori spiced venison; char-grilled turkey breast tikka with coriander chutney; and Malabar boatman’s kingfish curry with steamed rice. Prices start from £65.00 per person and it will be available from 12pm-5pm.

OXBO Bankside

Christmas Day Brunch, 1-4PM

Here at City Matters Headquarters, we do love a brunch. For those looking to celebrate with loved ones without the hassle, the OXBO Bankside is on hand with a truly festive four course brunch. You will be served un-limited starters and Christmas desserts from the Chef’s Traders Table, and the main menu playing host to family favourites such as Roast Turkey with all the trimmings. The Open Kitchen will see the restaurant’s chefs cooking up made-to-order eggs, waffles, and pancakes for hungry guests eager to start the festive feasting. The Brunch menu is priced at £60 pp with the option to elevate the experience with unlimited bubbles for £75 for added sparkle. Sounds like good vibes to us!
