The epic Italian food-hall brand Eataly is preparing to open a huge 40,000-square-foot venue in the City of London’s new Broadgate development in early 2021.
We can’t wait to go exploring the three Italian restaurants, grocery market, wine store and in-house cheesemonger where we will be indulging in all the parmigiano, pecorino and ricotta.
This London child is spawn from the Torino original, joining a 42-strong family of Eataly outposts all around the world. Those fellow food halls focus on top notch Italian food and produce, and the London addition will be offering all of this while also hosting in-house cookery classes from Italian chefs and experts.

These guys are also sustainability warriors. They are all about celebrating small and local farmers while introducing their own zero-waste refill store.
The Italian food hall forms a big part of Broadgate’s ongoing transformation. It sits perfectly alongside the area’s Broadgate Circle, Exchange Square and new 100 Liverpool Street development.
The biggest pedestrianised area in all of London is just getting better and better – and the Square Mile is only improving on all if its food, wellness and culture offerings.
It’s exactly the kind of thing we need once most people return to work next year (fingers still crossed for this). We’ll definitely be hitting up this foodie haven straight away!
