On Wednesday 6th November, Londoners will have the chance to spend ‘A night at the Musicals’ for the Lord Mayor’s and Lady Mayoress’ s Grand Finale, led by TV-celebrity and West End legend Darren Day and supported by musical troupe Beyond Repair.

Part of The Lord Mayor’s ‘Grand Finale’ – music lovers from all over the capital can rub shoulders with The Lord Mayor of the City of London Professor Alderman Michael Mainelli, Lady Mayoress Elizabeth Mainelli and other City VIPs as they celebrate the end of their mayoral year.

With tickets available now for general sale, guests have a rare chance to experience the Great Hall in one of London’s oldest buildings like never before – with intimate tables and low lighting laid out to evoke a 1920s jazz club cabaret.

Starting at 6.15pm, guests will be served bubbles and canapes before sitting down to a whistle stop tour of musical classics from Cats to Moulin Rouge performed by musical aficionado and popular singer Darren Day and West End musical troupe Beyond Repair.

Those choosing the afterparty package can join Darren Day and The Lord Mayor in the Guildhall’s underground Crypts, to dine on a decadent two course feast with wine. As well as a delicious dinner, guests will enjoy more entertainment and the chance to hob nob with the stars of the show.

Throughout the evening, there will also be a silent auction packed with exclusive prizes. As the final fundraiser of the mayoral year, all proceeds from the Grand Finale will go to The Lord Mayor’s Appeal. This will support The Appeal in its aim to create A Better City for All
that is inclusive, healthy, skilled and fair.
